Almost as a throw away aside The Economist tells us in its 18 August issue that Pearson “announced this week that it plans to offer its own degree course, accredited by Royal Holloway”. What a good idea: vertical integration. I wonder whose textbooks will be most adopted in this course, and who will be the likely publisher of any resulting new textbooks.
