IMG_0114This seems to have been a big success — the last day of BEA (Book Expo America) was open to the public. Word is that 12,000 tickets were sold. At $35 for adults and $5 for kids that’s financial as well as PR success. And there were certainly throngs there. You almost couldn’t get up and down the aisles the crowds were so thick. There were just lots of excited kids rushing here and there to get to some book signing or other. Posters in the subway were obviously a success.

They will surely repeat next year when BEA is once again in New York. (It will be in Chicago in 2016.)
