Not a term I had heard — till recently. I am signed up for a blog called About Blooks, which sends news of things which look like books but are not really books. This appears to be an outgrowth of the blog Alice C. Morse, by Mindell Dubansky covering the design work of this designer. I find these blooks slightly annoying in the same way as book sculptures are. What’s wrong with books as books? Too bored to read them so let’s make them into a flask or a camera!

Slightly oddly Wikipedia tells me that a blook is a book made up of content from a blog. There’s apparently even a Lulu Blooker Prize. Maybe Ms Dubansky could make a blook about her blooks and secure the prize.
