But serendipity is often cited by fans of bricks-and-mortar bookstores as their reason for loving them. If the satisfaction you get from finding an unexpected book is in direct proportion to the effort you’ve made to discover it, then you should hurry to Cobble Hill and visit that sanctum of Ceylonese surprises, The Community Bookstore before it closes.
