Buying on-line, especially an e-book, demands that the buyer be wary. Make sure that little details like the name of the author and the definite/indefinite articles in the title match what you want. Otherwise you may end up enjoying the wrong book. The Passive Voice‘s post “Loved the novel about a girl on a train?” gives us a couple of examples reported by The Wall Street Journal. Most of the people who got the wrong novel seem to have been perfectly happy — maybe randomization in our e-book purchasing is something we all might appreciate.
